Hello friends, I need to change the Catalytic Converter of my Mpi, what brand and model do you recommend? The one that sells minispares as well as its lambda probe are very bad, they barely work

I bought a used original one from a scrapped car, in 2020. Paid £30, if I remember correctly.

BM Catalysts seem reputable though they list two for the Mini Catalogue | BM Catalysts. The 'H' (homologated) version would be one to go for but more expensive at ~£85.

I bought the same model that minispares sells, but from EEC. DONT get those. They are crap. Mine failed the emissions initially with it and only got through by the smallest margin after the garage dyno'd it to really warm it up first.
Second hand ones are still gonna be 20 years old. Will they still be good? My old one worked still but the insides were rattling around.

Would a new one be better? And has anyone used the BM one and got though an mot cleanly?
