Hello everybody! Quick intro, my name's Sam and I've just gotten my hands on my latest project: a very incomplete and rusty '73 Innocenti Cooper 1300... Always loved those and couldn't help but fall for this neglected pocket rocket 😅 Restoration is already underway and I'll start a thread to document the process!

I also recently purchased a inno in need of some love. Im based in Vienna, Austria. Im looking forward to seeing your rebuild. Mine is in need of an engine and a bit of body work. I hope to get it going this summer.

 

Maybe we could exchange info on finding parts etc. Some stuff seems very hard to get a hold of!

Hi again and thanks for the warm welcome! Here's a couple of pics of the car as I got it, definitely not the prettiest... (Got some boxes of parts with it too but it's far from complete)

Loads of butched previous repairs, loads of rust and some collision damage... But hey,don't they all deserve a second chance?

@wjskir Yeah finding parts can be quite the headache... Facebook groups have proven quite useful so far though!
