Hi. As MK1 said there is a Facebook group. I've never had a Facebook profile and don't intend getting one, so I've only been in touch with one other Cooper conversion owner.

I am a member of the Mini Cooper Register and their Rover Cooper registrar does write several articles on conversion cars throughout the year.

Mines a 1990 Flame Red conversion. So 'hi' Pipsmum and ClassicPeanut 🙂

Thanks MK1 I will have a look at this. I have looked before and can't really find any info on the racing/flame/checkmates with the Cooper conversion, but will look again.

Hi Classic Peanut and CooperD. Lovely to meet someone else with the same types. Our conversion is no. 25, it's a racing green, but not sure what the RF means. Hoping to find out a bit more about them on here.

If you are taking about the RF on your conversion certificate, I believe it means Rover Fitted.

The conversions could be taken out at Cooper Garages and also once they were made an 'extra' on your order at the Rover dealership they would be fitted there.

Mines no 68 and was fitted by Rover Swindon.
