What is the clearance for the r/h diff. Cover bearing? I read somewhere 1 to 2 thou. Can someone confirm? Also what is the proper location of the oil whole in the bearing? Old one is at about 1/2 o’clock position.

I line up the hole in the bush with one of the slots in the cover. For these, they are low speed and moderate load. I ream them to 0.001" and they soon settle at around 0.0012" to 0.0015" after running for a short while.

As Spider says 1 thou clearance, I bore mine out on a lathe.
