Need advice. Replaced new windscreen and new seal a few months ago and windscreen crack again, is it possible to remove the cracked windscreen without damaging the rubber seal and reuse it? Thanks a lot.

You can reuse them as much as you can.

my experience is that it will leak when replacing a screen and reuse the rubber seal.

You can reuse them, my suggestion from experience is to use a new seal and use screen sealant from a window fitters....

A lot depends on the age of the seal and how hard or cracked/perished the rubber has become over time. If in doubt replace but also beware that many new rubber parts for Minis don't seem to last as long as the original items did so look for quality from a specialist like Minispares rather than a low price from an unknown supplier of cheap copies which crack and shrink over time on ebay....

I've never needed to use any sealant and would hesitate to recommend it.

I would say the main cause for a leaking screen is likely to be incorrectly fitted fillet strip.

Cheers

I now always get my windscreens sealed in, purely to prevent corrosion and water leaks
