Found why my waterpump was shot, why the fan was rubbing on the Rad, and why my fanbelt was dead
The metal bracket that mounts the engine to the rubber engine mount has broken in half :'( :'( :'(
From what I can tell, no-one makes these anymore
Does anyone know where I can find one? Its the passenger side.....
If you do, then theirs a big * from Alice for you...............

Well for a kiss I'll tell you to ring DSN Classics (01953 455551). If possible ask for a genuine part.

Cheers for that! I will give them a ring in a minute! I think the subby is bent, so a genuine part is not necessary. BUT, I doubt there will be a non-gen part.....
Oh, and by the way Alice is the car. I am a bloke.............

Bugger, well take the number and be off with ya!
In what way do you mean the subby is bent? That could throw the suspension geometry out of wack?!

Subby bent as in the car has had a hit hard enough to need the front end replacing and big enough to snap an engine mount bracket! I would be surprised if the subby was straight! Tyres are wearing evenly across the tread, and she doesnt pull to either side more than normal, but I aint gonna push her too hard.
by the way, this was all done before I bought her. It would be MUCH easier to replace this f****** bracket with no bodywork on!
