And how do the rip off revolites stand in comparison to the revolutions?
Anyone know?

Never were Mag. Revolites broke often.

The race wheels are made from high magnesium alloy whereas the road wheels are stated as alloy.
So is "high magnesium alloy" not magnesium?

So does the high mag content mean they are magnesium or a higher than normal amount of magnesium but still not proper magnesium. Confusing
Are mag wheels pure magnesium?
At 181 quid per wheel for a 7x13 I'd be presuming they are magnesium.

At that time, about 25 y ago, I bought a set of 6x10 directly from Revolution. They had two sorts of wheels the same size. The competition wheels where a few pounds more and were advertised as being heat treated. But both from aluminium-alloy (which inherently has a small amount of Mg amongst other ingredients). Al alone is far too weak to build something out of it!

Is is “just” an aluminium alloy. Mag wheels are a magnesium alloy. Neither are pure.
the alloy they use is less than 0.6 % Magnesium
