Hi
From fully screwed up (clockwise from under), how many turns open is the mixture jet turned anti-clockwise as a base position to work from? This is for su 1 1/2 carb for 1990 su city.

Search Burlen Fuel .they have excellent SU fitting and tuning instructions.Try two turns down from when the jet is level with the bridge.Steve..

Generally 9 to 12 flats or 1 1/2 to 2 turns down will give a ball park to work from.
