I reluctantly have to thin out the fleet due to lack of storage so I'm looking for a sensible value to put on it.

I have owned it for 13+ years and bought the best one I could find with all original rust free floors, sills etc. 

It`s only done 51,000 miles or so but having not used it for some time the motor was stripped and checked.

No wear was found but the crank had a polish with new bearings. The bores were honed with new rings and the head had hardened seats fitted.

It`s a 76 model with solid mounted front subframe.

New heritage wings and A panels were fitted about 5 years ago along with a fresh coat of Glacier white including the underside that was bare metaled and new Heritage sills along with a new subframe and petrol tank as a matter of course.

8.4" discs so the misses can stop it, negative camber arms and 4 wheel alignment so it goes around corners and a nice one off stainless exhaust.

 

 

 

Yep it cost a fortune but we love them :)

Very nice, it looks immaculate, I fully concur with bigger wheels and upgrading to discs but the purists will mark it down for that.

 

I would say in the £13-15k ballpark, based on what's currently for sale on carandclassic.com

I did advertise it on Car and classic for £11500 but I didn`t get any interest although I have seen far far lesser cars bring around £9000 with in my opinion shoddy repairs and this one is as close as you're going to get to a new one.

It wouldn`t take me long to put it back on 10" wheels and drums for the right buyer but to me Clubby estates look right on bigger wheels :)

I`ve put it back on Car & Classic, with the Riviera run coming up it will bring people within 30 miles of me.

Personally I would go for 10’s with Cooper S discs and callipers if you did have to go down in size.

Lovely car by the way and I think it’s worth the money.
