So I’ve finally been able to drop my engine into my car after 8 years and now the manifold doesn’t want to clear the mechanical fuel pump I installed previously.

I bought this car partially taken apart so not sure if this was manifold was even part of the original vehicle but figured someone might be able to give some sort of direction.

That's an original Cooper or Cooper S Manifold. These cars were fitted with Electric Fuel Pumps, in small part, so these manifolds could be fitted.

It's common to simply put a ding in the Manifold where the pump is however, I'd suggest fitting an electric pump. Even in a stock car, these mechanical pumps being fitted so close to the exhaust isn't great.

Well crap. I guess one positive is at least a replacement fuel pump is easier to get here in Canada then a new manifold.

Thanks all.
