I have a 6 point bolt in cage that uses 38mm tubing however I do not know who made the cage. The foot plate use 3 bolts instead of 4 on the A and B feet. The cage had been painted over etc and I am unable to find any stamping. would someone be able to give me an idea of were any stamping might be before I clean the whole cage back to bear metal and or any idea of a company that uses a 3 bolt foot plate. Thanks

Many had 3 bolt floor fixing. Don’t know of any that had any stamping.

if stamping became the norm at some time it will be before that then.

pictures would be an idea. But as it is only 38mm it will be pre 1990ish.

The fixings usually give it away.
A 2 bolt joint fixing is usually safety devices whereas a wrap around clamp at the joints is aleybars.
