lol thanks mad4minis, only ive worked in bike shops and my mates work in halfords, and its gotta be said, they can have some serious problems with ordering things

Edit 19th Feb - Halfords rang this morning! said there still making the seats :@ as they didnt have them on the shelf, so they said about a week. pfft i can see where this is going

Yeeeeaah, seats are coming TOMORROW morning.

My mate said it wasnt on, and that they were taking the mick, so he rang them, spoke to manager at halfords, then spoke to head office at corbeau!!

He got them to send it by courier next day delivery today, and got me a discount!!!

So ill post pics tomo

Right haven't updated in a while, but that doesn't been we've not been working on it !!!

Cars Finished now, bar, arches being on, and the gear stick gaiter

Apart from that its ready to go, oh and one last spanner check.

Gunna put the arches on on Sunday, then will go for its MOT on Wednesday, and my birthday is on Thursday!!!!

So have gotta get insurance sorted on Monday, so i get the cover note by Thursday, then hopefully i can get tax wed or Thursday

Drove it up and down the road today for the first time, (at the dead end of a long quiet road) to set the suspension as we set the sus up today. So all the wheels point nicely in the right direction with the right angles

Had to extend the steering column by 3 " because im 6ft1 the seats pretty far back, so my arms were too stretched with the standard column.

Cant wait to drive it properly

Well, in 4 days ive done 800 miles. i drove to Plymouth Friday, 290 miles, then back today. stopped for fuel twice each way, and pulled over 2 times on the way there to check nothing was falling off, other than that i didn't stop driving for 7 - 8 hours each way :S didn't ache at all tho!! its so nice to drive, very smooth and stuck to the road feel, doesn't bounce around all over the place.

Booking a rolling road session tomorrow. looking for 90 - 100bhp at the fly.
