Ive been lurking for a while so i thought it about time to say hello!

Im based in mid Somerset in the UK and after having built a few kit cars and tinkered with a few other classics, at christmas 2021 i took the plunge purchased a 1992 Mini Mayfair.

Well....

What i actually bought was a completely stripped, rusty bodyshell and a large pile of associated parts, that when reconditioned and put back together in the right order should make a Mayfair!

Ive spent the last 4 months cutting, welding and grinding the bodyshell and im just about there, with just a few bits to finish.

So given that im now starting to put it all back together and fastidiously studying all of the l reference mauas i could buy, i thought id say hello and see if there are any active groups/clubs in Somerset? Especially ones that dont require Facebook membership!

I'm also in Somerset and wish you well with the Mini. I don't know of any clubs locally but if I find one, I'll let you know.

Where in Somerset? I run Exmoor Minis which covers N Devon and West Somerset.

Minigman, im over by Cheddar but im over your way quite a bit walking. I did drive past the big Lynmouth car meet the other weekend but sadly couldnt stop
