Put all of the suspension back together on both sides, drivers is all good but on the passenger side for whatever reason when I put the car back on the ground the pot joint and driveshaft are slipping out and I can see that it is not sitting flush with the casing, when jacked up the joint goes back in and there isnt a problem. Any ideas before I start pulling my hair out

you are not pushing it in enough or the circlip is missing or damaged. You have checked that the joint slides in and out.I do not know whether it is possible to put the shafts on the wrong side?Do not be tempted to drive it until sorted,Steve..

Engine is in bit anyway, I was assuming its something to do with the circlip, will have to try and pull it out, is it possible to replace the circlips?

Yes, the circlips can be replaced - they are just a simple wire spring clip

When the Pot Joint is fully home, there's only about a 4 - 5 mm gap between the back of the joint and the side cover. You can check the joint is home by pulling it back by hand, it shouldn't move.
I fit these to the Engine as a complete joint, without the drive shaft fitted. I have an old drive shaft that I removed the clips from that I insert into the Joint and tap (not bash !) the joint on and home.
