As part of the continuing clearout I have unearthed this short block from a project that never happened (I went with a different engine).

It is a 998cc A plus block that has been machined to run a 12g940 head. The pistons were new, bores are perfect, crankshaft is standard sizes, it has a few marks from storage and is very dirty as it was covered in storage oil when I put it away in 2010 and it has got very dusty since.

The crankshaft taper is very good, I cannot find the thrust washers at the moment but I will include them if they turn up.

The head gasket face is very good but has a few marks from storage.

I would like £175 for it and it's in Cornwall. I can box it if you want to arrange a courier but, obviously, it's very heavy. Cheers, Damian.
