This was a different tyre on a different car. Just the same brand/model of tyre

I had a similar thing happen two years ago with some Marshall KR11 tyres. Not a blow out but a change in shape of the casing. My van came with these tyres, they were about four years old and obviously had hardly been used. I did a few thousand miles on them until one one brisk trip around a roundabout, upon joining the dual carriageway there was an awful vibration. Once I was able to stop I eventually realized the n/s/f tyre had gone out of shape. I stuck the spare on and got home and then ordered a set of new Blockley tyres. Now they are much better quality.

I've driven on all sorts of tyres over the years and never had one do this. I too wonder if the Marshall's are trailer tyres - it's about all they're good for. They also had a pointlessly small amount of wet grip too.
