Hi All,

Can anyone tell me the electrical resistance between the two contacts on a normal Smiths fuel gauge?

To be clear, I'm not asking for the resistance of the fuel sender unit - I'm trying to find out the resistance of the little heater wire that heats the bimetallic strip inside a Smith fuel gauge.  I know that it will increase with temperature but I just need the resistance at about room temperature.

If anyone has a multimeter and can measure it for me I'd really appreciate it - thanks!

Kitty
