Hi all I need some help with the correct needle for my mini. It's running a newly rebuilt hif44 carb the car is a 1380 running a swiftune csi distributor and a med stub stack and filter currently running a bdr needle but is awful at start up from cold runs fine when warm though

Try adjusting the choke arm screw so it opens the butterfly a bit and see if that helps
