I’m looking for a company to make me the upper part of a grp mini shell to help with a repair.

Abs motorsport is unable to help right now

Custom minis - I’ve been unable to get through to them or have any return contact so I’m guessing they are too busy or unable to help with this

Does anyone on here build GRP mini shells or have ties to a company who can help?

If ABS can’t help now I would guess it is they are busy as F with touring cars. Can’t think of anyone else who could.

 

ask them when they might be able to help.

Yes that is why they can’t help right now and it’s going to be a busy season for them

Have you considered making a mould yourself .... I did it on a mini marcos I had years ago for the bonnet, made a mould off another marcos and then made a new panel. (or make a copy in foam and then generate it from that)

 

I suppose it depends on the actual size of the section you want.

 

Boat builder might help, or might be able to suggest someone.

Ahh, didn’t know that to be fair
They’ve always done great work and just assumed this was a stand alone thing

Thinking I may go for a full space frame grp body to get all the sections I want/need
Does anyone still race these? Could be a good outlet for a damaged one to get the bit I need..
