Up for sale is the 1980 Clubman I've had since 2015.

There's a thread on here that documents everything I did to the car after I got it:

https://www.theminif...c-mini-clubman/

No expense was spared and there's over £15k worth of high end parts fitted to it.

The car is fuel injected and was initially intended to be supercharged. As a result it has a 9.0:1 compression ratio and is still fitted with a multi rib bottom pulley.

As it stands, normally aspirated, it runs fantastically well. The custom wiring loom and ecu installation by Chris at EFI-Parts is a work of art and his custom mapping is absolutely spot on.

It really is begging for a supercharger or turbo though!

In 2019 I bought an Austin Metro as my daily driver and the Mini was put in my dad's garage where it's remained untouched ever since.

After holding on to it for a long time I've finally decided it's time to let it go.

I pulled it out this week, cleaned off all the dust and it started up first time!

It's not a show car but it's incredibly solid for a 1980 car and wouldn't take a lot of work to make it 100%. The clutch was slipping ever so slightly when I put it away, but I've got a replacement that I'll be fitting next week.

It's over 40 years old now so eligible to be tax and MOT exempt.

I'm after £4000 for it (no offers) which is an absolute bargain given the cost of all the parts fitted to it. I'm based in Stockport.

Here's some pictures of when I wheeled it out this week and after I've given it a good clean:

A word about the bodyshell as people have asked me:

Like I've said, it's not show-car-100% but it's really solid.

Some old fella had it before me and it'd only done 25000 miles and kept in his garage. He'd painted all of the underside in some kind of sealant and since I've had it it's had a full underbody wax treatment.

There's some surface rust in places but no massive holes.

I should have looked at the milage when I had it out of the garage the other day, but I forgot. DVLA checker shows 40,379 miles at the last MOT in 2020, so I'd guess it's somewhere around 44,000 now.
