Hallo,

Going to be fitting maniflow manifold without a K&N Induction kit (funds!! & the original exhaust has a hole before the CAT so had to be replaced)

The standard air filter box will be retained but has a K&N air filter element inside.

Seeing as you cannot fit the original hot air box to the new manifold (I presume) should I leave the hot air intake flap as is or just remove the vacuum tube and plug it like you would with a K&N air induction kit??

Anybody had experience??

Thanks

Was thinking of extending the air intake tube with a flex tube (like an induction kit) to the front behind grill - thoughts?

Dsn make a nice anodised aluminium air box finisher. If you take off the air flappy thing this trim ring covers the intake and looks quite nice. Available in silver, red, blue and black. An excuse to buy several things from dsn to make the postage worthwhile
