Not sure if they'll get it to work - I could see it sending out fines to the wrong people.  Another reason to have Bond style revolving number plates!

I'm fully for this, there's honestly no need for some of the ridiculous exhausts we get round our way

 

a nice burble is one thing but  rrrraaawwwwPPOPOPOPOPOPOPOP is just beyond retarded.  at work here we just look at each other, laugh, and say well there goes another person with a really small penis

 

like you say though I do hope they stay sensible with it and only prosecute the total morons not the people with genuine well tuned engines that sound right

 

if it was up to me I'd make sure all road patrols had laptops and leads, and access to a database of the correct maps as approved by their V5 / insurance.  reupload that, send them on their way with a fine and a warning not to change it back

I can't be bothered getting my knickers in a twist about these stories anymore, there's a new scare story every month and so far none of them have come to fruition.
