Hi all,

I have just picked up a 1984 mini Mayfair that has a Monterey body kit and converted to a cabriolet, could you suggest any insurance companies that wont charge the earth?

Adrian Flux,I used to work for them and they love anything modified.
Prices usually competitive and with all declared mods you won't get hassle if you ever need to make a claim

Sterling Insurance are worth getting a quote from as well.

As I had a modification list as long as your arm I emailed a word document to them which included body/exterior/suspension/gearbox/engine displacement/cam/carbs you name it(just about everything going).

I'm early 30s with 1 year NCB and it came in at £180 fully comp with 5000 limited milage which seems pretty good to me.

I'm with Lancaster for both my mini's. The Turbo Cooper is heavily modified and they were by far the better deal, I told them I was a member of TMF and I got free legal and agreed valuation.
