If you missed it, this is the reason behind the double springs from the author of the post:
“Adjustable springs replacing the old cones you can set the ride to suit yourself & Adjustable spring wound shocks, all round adjustment horizontal & vertical for your weight distribution for a spot on ride, quicker corners & comfort.“
