Hi,

As the title, does anyone have any plans for the adapter to mount an engine on a stand? I have tried googling but non of the pictures seem to load anymore.

I have a 84 Mayfair 998 if that helps.

I'll be honest - I just bought one off ebay, but that was several years ago and it cost half what they are now. However, if you're handy with a welder and don't mind a bit of fabrication, it shouldn't be too difficult to knock up your own using a cardboard template and some tubing to go in the stand.

My one fits on the bolt holes for the oil filter housing and alternator bracket. Mine is A+ only whereas this one in the link fits both the A+ & the A-series.

Doesn't look too difficult to knock up, especially if you have the steel lying around.

Mine was about 40 quid inc delivery and when compared to the possible risk of injury or damage to the engine caused by insufficient welding or some other error I figured that was effectively peanuts
