Nice to meet you all. Hello from Taiwan.

 

To be honest, I have randomly watched Total Car Review Youtube channel and found this forum two days ago and found my Mini Spares have a discount if I join this forum.

 

A little bit about myself:

 

My first car ever purchased is a 1988 Austin Mini Mayfair. Couple years back, I have tear down and have it a full overhaul my second mini, a 1988 Mini Automatic. 

 

Now I'm going to purchase my third mini. After talked to the previous owner for more than one year, purchased my first barn found Mini which is a 1987 Mayfair. I got 10 minutes to check it back then, it's clutch and brake cylinder seized, interior destroyed and have a flat battery. Will try to start the engine start from this weekend. Wish me luck.

Hi everyone,

 

Nice to meet you all. What a shame I have just found TMF via the Total Car Review Youtube channel after driving Mini for 18 years. I'm a proud certified Level B mechanic in Taiwan. Thanks for my Austin Mini taught me how to fix a car.

 

Got my 3rd Austin Mini, finally, a barn-found. My plan is to make it a bargain build and roadworthy in two months because 2022 Mini Day Taiwan is on September 20th. OMG, I'm not sure to make that happen.

I've been rescue this cute little beast and managed so far preventing it become an endless money pit. Got some blog posted on popular tech blog here in Taiwan.

Hate to say that but I do keep an endless mini spare parts inventory. I simply rescue my 3rd mini using my old parts. Only few switches were donated by friends.
