Hi All,
I've just finished my first ever mini engine job in flushing the radiator & changing the thermostat housing & pipes.
Two questions:
What size is the nut that hols the top radiator mount to the thermostat housing? (The old one had a stud nut that I just cant remove & the new one doesn't have a stud nut)
Second, the radiator fan seems to be clipping something but I can't see what. I've not noticed the noise before but the scuffs on the fan don't seem new. A mate reckons the water pump might have some movement.
I've a 94 Italian Job mini 1275 engine. Thermostat has a sandwich plate.
Any advice most welcome 🙏
Thanks for reading 😊

Is there a breather on the timing cover? Do you have the fan on the right way around and a spacer between it and the pulley?
