It is MOT time so just doing some pre checks and have realised my headlight and hazards are not working.

Head light def work as they come on when I flash high beam.
Switch appears to work as dash lights come on when I switch lights on.

I have checked the fuses in the engine bay and they all appear ok?

am I missing something obvious? Are the hazards and headlights on the some circuit?

Thanks in advance.

Mine was similar. I first checked and cleaned the bullet connectors behind the grille. That didn’t work. I then found behind the stereo or speedo area on the dash there were some hidden in-line fuses. One had blown. That worked for me. Hopefully yours is as easy a fix.

Can only comment on my 1989 car but the headlights are not fused. The switch is off/sidelights/sidelights and headlamps. The switch can melt so the sidelights are OK and the headlamps not work. The hazards have a in line fuse behind the carb. This is the experience with my car, yours may differ.Steve..

1990 onwards cars may have inline fuses behind the speedo binnacle

Hazards have an inline fuse (purple/orange wire) if the interior light works then generally that fuse is ok
