Thankfully I saw a thread about Minimime before I purchased a few years ago. I only considered them because MiniSpares were out of stock.

I brought parts from minimine in the past and found there poorly made I spoke to them they get there parts from China because it’s cheaper I brought a poly exhaust hanger which split when inspecting I saw whoever made it hadn’t made the bracket long enough or set it in anywhere deep enough so it was hardly held in ‘ when I went MITP in there stand people were returning parts that were bent someone I know had a wheel nut that wasn’t drilled central and I noticed wheel nuts which had the chrome flaking off I mean how can these people be trusted when they sell such badly made parts there going to kill somebody
Have you spoken to them about the issue?

It’s their choice to stack them high and sell them cheap, and source from wherever they want. To be fair, they make the effort to attend most of the shows, unlike many of the “better” traders.
If you’re unhappy with the products then just don’t buy from them. Clearly many are happy with what they sell, otherwise the shows wouldn’t be worthwhile attending. If they find it is a problem, then they’ll have to change to strategy as they won’t be selling anything.
I don’t think the answer is to publicly rubbish a trader based on one or two products. Just don’t use them if that’s your experience.

I very much doubt if Minimine are big enough to get parts made for them in, well any place actually to the quantities required for a manufacturer to tool up, so I expect other companies are selling the same kit, non of the companies out there are immune from selling dross, I bought a rad top bracket from one of the 'big' players and to be honest it was so thin I could have rolled a fag with it, fitted it anyway and of course it broke, right I'm off to buy some artic extreme clothing for the winter months.

Your initial post doesn’t give a good impression of you, and the statements you make about a company could land you in some serious hot water…

I would suggest the first thing to do would be to message them and get a refund if your not happy, you said you’ve not been happy with items previously purchased from them so my question would be why are you still buying from them.

Its sad to see the subject of poor quality parts being raised yet again. When are all Mini parts suppliers going to get the message and do something about it, I'd rather pay a bit more than breakdown. I have had a recent example. I bought a pair of brake drums to go with all the other new parts I put on Red81 when i rebuilt her. When I got her on the road I started to sort the niggles but brake judder was an issue I just could not sort, I went through everything. I didn't question the drums because they were from what I deemed a top supplier. Eventually I had no option but to suspect the drums, I tried switching front to back but the backs are slightly worn with the smaller shoe so binded. The machinist would charge £30 to set up the drum for machining or testing which is the same cost as the drums, so a dilemma. Fortunately I had kept my old drums, so I had these machined and hey ho perfect brake judder gone.
No problem with the supplier he said he would credit and I can throw the faulty ones away, but he's really surprised because of the hundreds he sells this is the 1st time he has had a problem. I wish I had a £1 for every time I hear that statement , its so annoying.
Any way this is where the suppliers are so annoyingly wrong. If a part is faulty it should be reported back to the manufacturer every time irrespective of the parts value, I want my supplier to take these drums back and reclaim the carriage costs from the manufacturer. If you don't you will never be able to improve the standard and quality of the parts you sell. Far eastern suppliers are very good at copying a product, producing them in the 1000's and selling them cheap, if they have no or very little complaints they carry on producing to the same standard, if they have loads of complaints they change and make improvements.
