Tax and MOT exempt lol
I bet that avoids a few awkward questions

Until it's taken to an MOT garage that does not overlook the obvious engine and structural change . The owner also has to declare that the car has had no significant changes when they apply for their free tax. Instant false declaration with potential consequences.

invalidated insurance I would assume
still, if you've got the spare cash it'd make a fun track day car as long as scrutineering are happy to let you out

this one would make better track car: mini Miglia body - no engine

true, keep it simple, handling is almost certainly better in terms of actual racing, instead of just blatting it about for a laugh (which still would be fun don't get me wrong)

I am a bit confused though, it's on a 1969 V5 for the obvious tax avoidance purposes but it's a composite shell, totally different engine.. is there even one single part that's original?
surely regardless of what you write on the V5 there should be some limit on how far you push the limit on that

Tax exemption does look dubious, but I'm not up to speed on all the rules.
It seems highly unlikely, but it could have started as a '69 Mini that was reshelled in to Minus and fitted with a rear engine before the SVA regulations, then fitted with the current engine conversion without additional mods to "bust" the DVSA points tally.
I still wouldn't want to be the one trying to convince the DVSA about that!

Those KAD discs look thick! Is it just because they've been cut down?
