Evening All,

I have a 1330 running a 286 kent cam. What would be a good start point for timing the engine up? Closest I can find would be 1275GT engine which appears to state 11 degrees.

Any advice appreciated.

The Kent 286 should be timed in at 106 degs ATDC.
I always set at 104 degs when fitting with a new timing chain in order to allow for initial chain stretch.

Are you mean cam timing or ignition timing?
