I,m thinking of fitting Mk 2 rear lights to my 1990,s mini, does anyone have any advice on this, I realize that a new reversing light must be rewired and fitted, Basically I was wondering if the stud holes lined up and there are no visible gaps once fitted.

The later are bigger so you may seen lines where the old seals sat. Otherwise straight fit.

Straight swap but you may see where the paint has faded compared to the area covered by the seal.

From memory the plastic wiring connectors are different types so a bit more than 'plug and play' on the wiring side of things.
