i have a 1293 metro engine, it came in my advantage, it drove to our house from 40 miles away, and was on the road when i bought it. id say its in a good condition. It has a 1.5" carb, lcb, exhaust, all the stuff to make it run, but hasnt for 4 years.

it has a kent 266 cam in it, and the head is really ported. with out stripping it, i dont know any more, but it didnt burn oil, jump out of gear, and the oil from it was good.

Rough idea of price?

Depending on price I could be interested in it. My engine has just absolutely detonated itself, and while I have a MED 998 Mini7 engine in pieces that I was going to build for it, this could be a better option for me!

From chatting with Mini enthusiasts over the years, I recon that there are about twice as many engines as there are cars and probably four sets of wheels.

Mini engines vary oin price so much..

About 300-500....

And for the record i have 11 sets of 10" rims

Along with 8 sets of 12" rims..

£300-500?? it’s not 2005 mate, prices are on the up, don’t get low balled by people on tmf.. it’s a common theme.

Find a cheap way to get it to the US, it's probably worth 3 times what it's worth in the UK. Hard to even find an A+ like that over here that isn't $3-5K!.
