Hi

I have just acquired Japanese Mini 1992 sprite 1271 cc automatic with air conditioning. The car needs a complete restoration.

 

That is no issue but the ECU is missing. Its a twin plug ECU and I am confused as to what ECUs can be used on the car. Can anyone help in identifying the ECU with the help of the chassis #

From the link below, it looks like you need a MNE10026 ECU. However, you will not be able to find a new one and you will need to have the correct one to get it refurbished. Good luck!

thanks for your help. Have looked high and low for a MNE 10026. There seem to be none available anywhere. I hope someone can give a lead. 

The only place where I can find a source is in Taiwan where there seems to be  a major language barrier and opaque web site barriers.

 

Is there any aftermarket ECU that may be used with the two plug wiring...plug and play?
