The 1999 Mini Knightsbridge.
The Manual Press Model. V208LOE.
This is exactly what it says on the tin. One very rare very unique Mini.
Made as part of the 40th Anniversary, the Knightsbridge was made completely for the European Export market, and like most of the V20*LOE run started its life as a left hand drive, but was converted in its early life to right hand drive.
It is one of the original 8 Press models.
The Knightsbridge were available in Gold, British Racing Green and Black.
These cars came with the Sportspack 13" alloys and wheel arch extensions and a cream leather interior.
The classic range launched in 2000 Data from MG Rover confirms 684 of them were the Knightsbridge variant.
There were around 5 or so of these cars in the UK, converted to right hand drive, 4 known to still be on the road dotted across all corners of the country.
Being an MPI and having the usual gadgetry of the later models, it also comes with the full cream leather interior, many original parts, a bible of paperwork from the original receipt of purchase through to today, as well as the prototype seat covers (still in their packaging) and so much more.....
One of the few UK based ones (a non runner at the time) went to auction back in June, and while it didn't sell it reached £22k on bidding...
