Been meaning to ask this question before. To access the grease nipple on both the radius arms (left and right), I have to remove the shrouds. The arms sit too high above the grommet hole making it impossible to get to the grease nipples. Is there something wrong with my rear subframe? It looks fine and the car handles fine, but just concerned something not correct.

Could the shroud be damaged? IIRC its only held in place with 2 screws.

A picture would help determine any potential subframe issues..

CAMBER BRACKETS REAR ADJUSTABLE

NEGATIVE CAMBER BRACKETS REAR FIXED

https://www.minispar...assic/MS69.aspx

When negative camber brackets are used they move the outer radius arm pivot and grease nipple upwards from the standard factory position.

Yes, it has the adjustable type. So no need to worry then?

I've never seen shrouds in such good condition

Later cars never had them fitted.

I’m only the third owner, so guessing they’re the originals which means they’re only 60 years old this year.  :D

You could fit angled grease nipples.
