Hello everyone, Names Ollie, from Chichester England. Have a 1991 Rover mini sprite, had her since 2009. I supercharged it but was unnecessary. Took it back to a twin carb. Have some troubles with headlights now and hoping to get some help on here :)

hi Ollie, welcome to TMF, I always found the more you tune an engine the less reliable it is ( but not as much fun short term ! ) What's up with your headlights ? you're sure to get some help here.

So Ive changed the Dim Dip relay, checked all the wires and connectors at the front of the mini. Ive taken the switch out the dashboard and cleaned the points. The bulb does work only on full beam and sidelights. Im a bit lost now.

Have you pulled the connectors apart at the front of the car and cleaned them up , I had a similar problem with dipped headlights not working and it turned out to be corroded connections, cleaned them up with a bit of emery cloth and all was well although my car was not fitted with dim dip.
