I've reached the stage of fitting the rear brake line, battery cable, and rear-light wiring under the floor of my '68 woody estate. The previous owner had fitted them using sticky-pads for cable-ties. They all unbonded and fell off in the intervening years between them giving up on the project and finally selling it on.
There are currently no tangs/clips/channels or any other useful fittings under the floor - it's just a beautiful smooth, newly-replaced and painted underfloor.
I assume that when the floor was replaced a set of cable/pipe clips and a battery-cable channel should have been welded-on before painting. Bit late for that now :-(
I guess I could Sikaflex and pop-rivet the channel and clips under the floor. Would that be my best option? Or is there some clever solution I haven't thought of?
