Hello. What is it called or what is the reference of the piece of cloth or foam that goes inside the door and that is in contact with the glass?
Thanks in advance!

..just bear in mind that what's pictured appears to be a later type door that's been converted to sliding windows

Is this on your 1972 Authi?

The UK Mk3 Minis had similar door mouldings (but not exactly the same) & the fabric part was not available as a separate piece.

Bravo! You've gone the point. That's right, my car is a 1972 spanish Mini Morris by Authi. And in that place, the door has a long clothe strip very old.
Maybe this is the item I need:

They are the currently available mk3 onwards inner mouldings with a rubber inner strip that touches the glass, as others have mentioned, the early mk3's had a different inner moulding with a cloth type strip that is no longer available.
But, you have a sliding window conversion which won't use any mk3 onwards parts on the inside of the glass. The inner chrome trim you have is a mk1/2 item and I don't think this has a rubber/cloth strip. You must have mk1/2 channels that the glass slides in. I'd imagine you need the mk1/2 lower channel.

Thanks a lot imack. And I'm sorry, because I didn't explain well. My Mini is not that from the picture. I just took the photo to ask your help.

If you want the correct information you need to supply a correct picture & the model & year of your Mini.

A lot of parts were slightly different on Spanish built Minis but looking at a 1970 Authi Brochure it looks like the Authi Mini used the same inner window seals as the UK Minis so i think you need either part number ALA5772 & ALA5773 (1" tall, early Mk3) OR part number JPC8153 (1/2" tall, later Mk3). There is an Authi Facebook group who should know which part is correct for a 1972 Authi.

This is ALA5772/ALA5773 https://www.custojus...a-aust-17114004

EJU1003 will fit -but it isn't the correct part & doesn't look as good (i think they were fitted from 1977)

IF you can find an original pair of seals -remove the staples & replace them with stainless steel staples before they go rusty & scratch the glass!

Thank you very much. I've added these two items in my Minispares order, because I'm not sure what I really need.
So, I'll tell in a week how ending this story.
