Hi

I have a gearbox for sale but I'm unable to post in that part of classifieds, any ideas?

Thank you, Paul

Read the rules at the top of the classifieds. Have sufficient posts or be a +TMF member.

Rather than creating a new topic, I thought I'd ask here - what's up with the classifieds? I haven't been here much recently and there's two things for sale? Are there new rulkes / time-limits on how long items can be listed? There's not a single mini for sale?

What am I missing here?

IIRC they are auto archived after a certain length of time.

Yeah I knew there was an auto-archiving feature for them, but last time I was here for any sustained period, there would be 20-odd minis, at least, for sale across the various types, and hundreds of parts. Is everyone now just hanging on to them, or is it more a long-term impact of the TMF+ / number of posts requirements? I know FB has killed a lot of forums, it all just seems a bit of a shame.

We had a massive influx of people bascially taking the mickey and not actually adding to the forum. So the 150 post or TMF+ rule was set up.

Also with rising prices etc, people can chance their arm more on fleabay etc, larger market plus a chance for the chancers to get away with some of the tat we have seen without being picked up on here by serious mini owners.
