i know you can get the fabric webasto as some dealers still have old stock of them, i looked at going down that route but actually decided to go the carbon route as well. the bristol sunroof guys were really helpful and they are a webasto dealership. i found them really helpful to deal with and have plenty of spares.

I'm pretty sure I have read a thread where it was suggested to replace with something else, perhaps mohair, by a trimmer.
Think this was based on the grounds of reducing the shrinking effect.

I have seen it done and looks much better and lasts longer. It was a long time ago and I never asked where he got it from (pre made, he fitted it) as I didn't have a need for one at the time...I'm pretty sure I have read a thread where it was suggested to replace with something else, perhaps mohair, by a trimmer.

Depends if you can find one or someone to make it directly. If someone knows where to get them (pre-made, direct replacement) , I'm all ears. 😁

Hi, How did it work with the Somerford roof? I can see now they only have : https://www.somerfor...e-header-footer which is a replacement I guess.
