I currently am renovating my 1994 front brakes and suspension and require new brake calipers. I currently have 12 inch wheels but eventually want to change to 10inch. Therefore I wonder if I could use the calipers for a 10inch on my 12 inch set up until I can afford the full swap to 10 inch.

You need the full set up.
calipers pads discs and drive flanges.
