Please see the photo below of the nearside gaiter on my steering rack. The gaiter does not match any that I can find on-line. Can anyone suggest how I can source one of these? Or where else I should seek advice. Thank you.  395374.jpg   16.06K   8 downloads

It looks like some of it's missing on the right hand side.

Possibly it's something a PO bodged on because it was what he happened to have, rather than get the correct one.

Spider. Apologies for doubting you first time around. I will order the part you linked earlier. Other than a swivel joint under the gaiter, there appear to be no other moving parts on that side. Therefore, does oil or grease need adding to the gaiter when partially fitted? Will engine oil suffice? Thanks.

The correct oil is SAE90 (essentially gearbox / diff) oil - 200 ml. Later racks were greased, but they were all designed for oil. Leyland only went to grease later to get around warranty claims. Even these, I'd recommend oil in, the racks last way way longer.
