I’ve been struggling to identify the color used on the mini's in the attached photos.

My best guess would be that its Arabian grey.

If anyone could help shed some like on this question I would be very grateful.

Thank you.

welcome to TMF

colours are notoriously difficult to ID on a screen, but it looks to me like the two cars above are different colours

top colour appears (to me) darker and to have a greenish hue so possibly tweed grey

bottom picture may be arabian grey

Thanks for the color link and the warm welcome KTS.

Yeah, I found that link and this https://mk1-performa...paint_chips.htm  here in TMF.  The MK1 site has reference photos to the paint chip cards which is of some help, the paint chip cards don’t really do a great job of representing the true color.

I’m kind of thinking even if I do figure out the color reference number, would an paint shop be even able to do anything with it?

I suspect they might not be able to use the reference code in the paint mixing data base they have access to.

If I do figure it out ill share it here.

There were other similar ones
El Paso beige
Sandy beige

But seeing as both those minis are modified there’s no guarantee they are a factory colour.

Thanks for the input timmy850. El Paso seems to looks like a close match. Was thinking it could also be lime flower maybe...

Those colour chips are nowhere close to the true colours so I wouldn't base any decisions based in those I'm afraid.

The colour in the original post does look like tweed grey to me but it's hard to say with any degree of accuracy.

Cheers
