Hi, been working on the mini over the Christmas period upgrading to disc brakes and renewing suspension components. Have noticed that the LHS driveshaft can be moved quite freely (up down left right) where as the RHS driveshaft is quite stiff to move. The driveshafts are hardy spicer joints. Is this normal behaviour is something broken or on the way out?

Many thanks

Where is it moving?

Where it goes into the gearbox? The hardy spicer or at the outer CV joint?

but there should not much to no play.
