Photo of the white label on top would help but, based on the 929, I'd suggest an alarm/immobiliser.

Looks like some kind of air con, but as Nick has said, not original as far as I know

Wish it was a flux capacitor.
Before I inspected it I just thought It was a heater/air con but no tubes coming out from it that would push air.
The rubber tubing seems to be just wires and disappear into the bulk head. The car does have immobiliser but can’t see how that would be needed. Seems a little big for that.
It does have 1 thin black wire coming out which isn’t attached to anything and was wondering if it’s even working or doing anything
The label says Laserline so think might be alarm related.. perhaps the actual buzzer ??

Il go with immobiliser too, no pipes going to it for anything aircon related.
