Regarding headlights, what's the wiring loom like?

I upgraded to a larger diameter wire with relays and this made a noticeable difference to the output of my halogen bulbs.

Also worth adding relays to the headlights if you haven’t already. The auto electrician i know said the sealed beams can perform almost as good as h4 if they get full voltage. Led and H4 probably require relay in any case.

Leds don’t really require relays, their amperage is much much lower than halogen or incandescent bulbs. It’s easy to get confused with watts as quoted with leds. They’re just trying to give buyers a sense of their brightness in comparison to ordinary bulbs. Their actual amps that they draw are significantly lower e.g. 4.2 amps draw from a halogen and equivalent brightness from an LED (probably brighter) is only 1.4 amps. So running your two led headlights will only amount to a current draw of approx. 2.8 amps which is nothing.

This is a VERY good point in my view, it doesn't take much of a loss in the loom to make a big difference at the lamps.

Here's a chart I found a while back from Hella;-

Managed to finally get round to fitting the offside KAD radius arm adjuster today. Much easier to fit than the MS 1, which I had to elongate every hole on.
Hopefully do the nearside tomorrow ready for a set up
