My mini used to run on a set of 7x13 revolite wheels before coming off the road for a rebuild,  I’m looking at putting a set of 8x13s on.

Is there much difference between 7x13 and 8x13?? Will I occur and problems??

Also what tire sizes would fit 8x13 inch wheels

thanks

There can be a whole pile of differences. You will need to check the ET and see how they compare. They may or may not stick out more. Or they my be more width on the inside or they may be split equally.

this can mean you need to modify the body more.

I briefly owned 13x8 revos before seeing sense, it’s the tyres that are the issue, with 195’s not being available anymore, 175’s were pretty stretched on them.

Ahhh ok I didn’t realise tyres would be an issue to find. I think staying 7x13 is a better option then

I've been running 8x13s with 175 tyres for a few years now. Covered thousands of miles in all weather with zero issues. I had 13x7s before that and the change from one to the other was unnoticeable. Yes it's true the tyres are are a little stretched, but its not too drastic in my opinion, and I quite like the look. If you're already used to the compromises of running 13x7s, then you will be absolutely fine switching to 13x8s if you choose to in future.

Though you could run 8J's on 195-45-R13 Tyres...? Or is that just me...?
Though admittedly they are a hefty chunk of change for each corner...
