It's not getting used, we have trouble getting in and out and I've got three other cars to look after so I'm seriously considering moving my Cooper on.

Flame red with white roof with Britax sunroof fitted (from new)

Healthy 1293 refreshed by me about 1000 miles ago with new rings and shells,. Stage three head duplex timing chain. stainless steel RC-40 and LCB, standard air box with K&N element - goes very well.

New sills (not over sills) and floor repairs - good and solid everywhere.

New brake servo and master cylinder a couple of years ago.

New battery

New MOT

Bad bits

Some paint reaction on scuttle end where it was re-panted

A couple of very small scabs and I mean small

Wood and Picket style arches fitted but the standard wheels look a little lost under them. I do have a set of spacers (never been fitted) should a new owner want them

Wheels are a bit scuffed but hold air fine

Tyres are fine but not the best brand.

Head lining is damaged where I removed the frame to replace the sunroof.

There's probably more as I've had the car about 25 years so there's been plenty of time to forget things.

Also comes with a cover if required.

It really is nice and such a shame to cover it up until the next MOT (it did around 20 miles since the last one  :( ) and someone should get the benefit from it

I'd like an idea what I would expect to price it at, not desperate to sell but my head tells me I should.

Well if this is £12k in a dealer:

https://www.carandcl...om/car/C1542480

Yours has has got to be worth £10K, considering the engine work, especially if you can back up with receipts. Might be more if you wait until better weather.

I would suggest if you do put it up for sale, perhaps take some clearer photos in daylight, from all angles, basically copy the how the dealer has done it!

If that (black) car is "British Racing Green", either I'm colour blind, or the photos were taken in the dark.

That car is deffo British Racing Green, I believe it is the way the photos have been taken, causing a dark reflection, which makes it look black from some angles.

Thank you for the replies. The pics were just what I had to hand so not the best. 10K is more than I thought but I haven't sold a car for many years - I just tend to keep them :D

If anyone else agrees, or not, with that estimate please have your say - I'm not scared of critique or other opinions.

Thanks
