Does anyone know the thread size on the estate fuel tanks, where the fuel pipe comes out, wanting to change over to AN fittings

Pretty sure the thread is 20 TPI and the union which fits is a 21A2770
They also fit early Sprite and MG Midget

It's a tricky one
1/4 npt - 18 tpi
1/4 bsp - 19 tpi
1/2 unf - 20 tpi

Why don't you use the original nut and tap the centre out to one of the freely available AN adapters, 1/4 NPT to AN6 for example.
